Converts RS232 to all RS422/485 signals and vice-versa (bidirectional)
Allows data to be transferred over long distances, up to 1 km with 0.14 mm² cable
Point-to-point or multiple connections possible
The transfer of data can be controlled using the RTS signal
Can be switched between DCE and DTE mode
Full and half duplex can be selected
Only the data leads are converted
